Shopping for fabrics

Some lovely Bali-pops. Hard to choose so had to buy them all
 Sweet repro-fabrics from around 1930
 And some other ones
And a lot of booring basics
And some bright Kaffe Fasetts.
The one on the top is much thicker than the other ones, guess it will be a bag some day.

Hekling

Oppskriften ligger her:

Vancouver - Canada

You know you are in Canada when :
you see the first Esso-sign, and miles gets into km again
When the houses suddenly changes style
And the townhouses are getting bigger and bigger
And you find an elephant in somebodys backyard
The view of town from the yaht-club
 Lovely sunset
The museum of Anthropology. Lots of old and BIG totem-poles inside.
Sorry we got there after is was closed for the day. Would love to come inside someday
The building was so spectacular I had to take some photos.

Lynden

On our way to Canada we stopped in Lynden, a small Dutch community
 They have lovely wallpaintings
A windmill which is really a hotel
Inside the street behind the hotel there in an indoor canal. It used to be lots of lovely shops and places to eat - I am sorry it is all closed down now.

The quiltshop was still in town - lucky me.
Men quiltebutikken var fortsatt i byen

And in the tourist office I found this quilted flag. Lovely

Farmers marked Bellingham

 Knit-taggingoutsides the knit shop
A standup man in his lovely patchworked wool pants
Another man "biking" a milkshake for his wife
Alternate use of rubber-boots

USA - Washington DC

 Vehicle for ice-fishing.

All kind of stuff to look at in Washington. It was too hot for us there,
so we had to spend a lot of time inside museums.
