A step forward again

Well - havent been sewing much lately - rather showeling snow.
This years first finish is a bag made from two leftower block for another bag - started app 2001.

Some of my UFO's has got some stitches
the BOM is almost finished, handquilting around the flowers on the middle part is still left to do.


The snowman placemats - two are quilted and ready to bind, the last two still has a lot off applique left.

And today I found an oldie in a drawer, and made some pinwheel-borders on it to change the format from landscape to portrait.

Mega Quilter II

Just had to share some more pictures. I quilted my woopsie-daisy-quilt today - only the backgrounds in the middle, the borders I will hand-quilt.

It is now 2007 - the year of the possibilities - to do all the things we want to do.
So I have started teaching myself to use my new mega-quilter


Also have to share with you the most beautiful "wrong side" of a quilt I have ever seen - made of an elderly lady for charity.

And I have finally joined the parts of the woopsie-daysy-quilt - some more applique and embroidery to do before quilting
